Bachus & Schanker Employees Attend Dolls for Daughters Invitational Golf Scramble
Dolls for Daughters hosted its 2nd Annual Invitational Scramble Golf Tournament on July 27, 2012 and Bachus & Schanker again sponsored a team of players for the event. This year the tourney raised $18,000 for needy children, which is $5,000 more than was raised last year at the inaugural tournament.
Jessica Bachus, Dolls for Daughters founder and president, commented, “I’m so grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a huge success.”
Proceeds from the tournament and other fundraising activities held throughout the year will be used to purchase toys for the annual Dolls for Daughters and Boys toy Shop to be held December 8, 2012. Last year 2,000 children received new toys through the Toy Shop. This year, the organization is hoping to provide a new toy, stocking stuffer, book and toothcare kit for 3,000 children in the metro Denver community.
