Our Cares Foundation team joined volunteers in late August to build 16 ramps that spanned a combined 3 miles during the Home Builders Foundation’s Fourth Annual Blitz Build.
The much-needed free ramps bring independence to disabled people in metro Denver who didn’t have safe and easy access to and from their homes.
The Blitz Build is an annual three-day building event that brings together volunteers, builders and contractors to build ramps and provide accessibility solutions for individuals with disabilities and financial need. In addition to joining the build, the Cares Foundation financially sponsors the event.
The Denver Post YourHub community news section captured Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation volunteers working with volunteers from Denver Metro Fair Housing.
