Ryan Watson is a resolution attorney at Bachus & Schanker, LLC. Ryan took a unique path into the practice of personal injury law, studying Chinese and International Studies as an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He spent a semester in Xiamen, China, and a semester in Taipei, Taiwan, and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. He interned at the North Carolina General Assembly before enrolling in law school at Campbell University in Raleigh.

He transferred to American University’s Washington College of Law, where he focused on criminal and constitutional law, interning for a D.C. Superior Court judge on a criminal docket and prosecuting misdemeanor domestic violence cases as a student attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland. These experiences instilled a passion for helping others through the legal system.

Prior to joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Ryan worked for several non-profits in the Washington D.C. area—as a research assistant at the National Juvenile Defender Center and an editor for the American Association for Justice’s Trial magazine. When he moved to Denver, Ryan saw an opportunity to more directly help and represent clients.

Ryan has been with Bachus & Schanker, LLC since July 2019, working to settle clients’ cases in the firm’s pre-suit department. In his free time, he likes to cook, rock climb, hike, and spend time with his partner.
