He also played an important role in Colorado’s uninsured and underinsured motorist law. As trial and appellate counsel in Fisher v. State Farm, Kyle obtained a Colorado Supreme Court decision confirming that insurers cannot withhold undisputed uninsured and underinsured motorist benefits as leverage during settlement negotiations.

Since 2003, Kyle has co-chaired and taught Colorado’s annual seminar on subrogation and reimbursement, educating attorneys on insurance reimbursement rights, personal injury law, and issues affecting injured individuals and families.
