Shawn Hillewaert

A member of Bachus & Schanker, LLC‘s litigation team, Shawn Hillewaert is a Colorado native, raised on his family’s ranch in northern Routt County.

Prior to joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Shawn represented individuals throughout Colorado who were under investigation or charged with misdemeanor and/or felony criminal offenses. This experience helped reinforce Shawn’s devotion to helping his clients fight massive organizations with seemingly endless resources. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Shawn was an underground miner and is a strong advocate for Colorado’s working residents.

In his spare time, Shawn can be found riding his motorcycle with his brothers and sisters as part of an
international organization dedicated to helping abused children.
