Bachus & Schanker, LLC Employees Serve at Denver Urban Peak
In June 28, 2012 a group of Bachus & Schanker, LLC employees pitched in as breakfast servers at Denver's Urban Peak location. Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation has long supported Urban Peak's outstanding work serving the city's homeless and runaway youth.
Recent statistics show that there are nearly 1000 young people, aged 18-25 living on the streets of Denver. Sixty-five percent of these youth are the victims of physical, sexual, or mental abuse. Since 1988, Urban Peak has help Denver's homeless youth get the services they need to survive and find alternatives to life on the streets. Among the organization's many vital services are:
Education and Career Services including GED classes, assistance in career counseling, help finding post secondary education, and job training
Health and Human Services
"The Spot" Youth Center
In Denver, Urban Peak serves homeless and runaway youth between the ages of 14 and 24. The Colorado Springs branch of the organization assists youth between 15 and 21. Both locations provide critical life services to youth struggling to find their place in the world and become self-reliant adults.
