Dolls for Daughters Bowl-a-Thon a huge success
Money raised benefits Toys for Boys drive
On May 22, 2010 Dolls for Daughters raised $3682 and had 115 new toys donated for their Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys toy drive. The toys will be given away along with at least 3000 new toys to boys and girls in the Denver Community on December 11, 2010.
This event was sold out, and Dolls for Daughters had to turn bowlers away before the event. The event was hosted at Eltich Lanes. The Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation sponsored a lane and several of their staff members attended the event to show their support.
There were kids of all ages and adults from 18-60 at the event. It was a great time with friends and family while giving back to the Denver community.
Dolls for Daughters was created in December 2007 in memory of Jessica Bachus’ daughter Kenzi Bachus. Kenzi was stillborn on January 23, 2007. Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters in memory of Kenzi Bachus. For more information about Dolls for Daughters or how to get involved, visit dollsfordaughters.com.
