Bright Future Ahead for Kelsey Crider after Kidney Transplant

During a routine physical in preparation for attending college, doctors found Kelsey Crider was anemic and her hemocrit was low. She was later diagnosed with Medullary Cystic Kidney Disease and all plans for attending college were put on hold. Last week, doctors at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado performed kidney transplant surgery for Kelsey Crider. So far the procedure seems to have been successful and the family is hopeful for Kelsey’s future.

Although the Crider family is cautious due to the failure of Kelsey’s first transplant, they are hopeful this time.
