Teens videotaped while driving?

We all know that teen drivers have the propensity to drive unsafely given their lack of experience. Indeed, one of parents’ worst nightmare is the fear of losing a child due to unsafe driving.

Well American Family Family Insurance has come up with a novel idea – installing video cameras in teenagers’ cars. The camera only switches on when an out of the ordinary event happens, like suddenly swerving. But this may be a good idea for parents to monitor what their teens are doing while out on the road. Interesting! The idea is part of the company’s TeenSafeDriver.com program.
