Team Bachus Raises $2305 for the March of Dimes
On Saturday, April 26, Team Bachus raised $2305 for the March of Dimes annual fundraising event, March for Babies. The team, comprised of 20 walkers and 3 dogs, braved blustery temperatures and even snow showers to support this event which is dear to the Bachus family. Kyle Bachus’ mom Margaret showed her support by walking in Orlando, FL!
Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death in the first month of life. It affects half a million babies a year in the United States and those who survive may have life-long health problems. And premature births are on the rise — up to 30% since 1981 with 1 in 33 babies in the United States born each year with birth defects.
