Fisher-Price, Inc. Toy Recall

August 2, 2007 | Recall Information

Beware if you, like millions of other parents, have Elmo, Dora or Big Bird toys lying around the house. Close to one million of these toys have been recalled by Fisher-Price because their paint has toxic lead. Visit the company website for a complete listing of all the recalled toys and take the toys away from your children. Meanwhile, perhaps it’s time America starts examining China’s manufacturing procedures. In June, toy maker RC2 Corp. recalled numerous wooden Thomas & Friends toys due to concerns that these Chinese manufactured toys contain lead paint.
