Jaclyn Thompson focuses her practice on personal injury and believes it is her responsibility to advocate on behalf of victims who sustained injuries through no fault of their own.

Jaclyn was raised in San Diego, California, and earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in print journalism from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Before law school, Jaclyn worked for Cosmopolitan magazine, MTV News, and DirecTV. While attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Jaclyn interned for former Chief Justice Nancy E. Rice of the Colorado Supreme Court, was an editor for the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy, and served as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure and Advanced Legal Writing classes. Jaclyn was also a president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Before joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Jaclyn began her legal career working for an international law firm counseling clients in complex litigation, including products liability, mass torts, class actions, and general business disputes. Jaclyn was an integral part of a defense team that secured several jury verdicts for one of the world’s largest orthopedic medical device manufacturers. Having worked on the defense side, Jaclyn is excited to use that experience to help clients navigate the legal world and achieve justice for themselves and their families.

When Jaclyn is not practicing law, she can be found doing yoga, playing tennis, or walking her Yorkshire Terrier with her husband.
