Claire Poundstone is a tireless advocate committed to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients. In her practice, she is passionate about giving her clients a voice while protecting their rights. Through personal experience, she knows how being injured through no fault of your own can be devastating and life-altering, and she understands how the assistance of a caring attorney is essential.

Claire brings a wealth of experience to her practices. Prior to joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, she worked at two Denver-based boutique litigation firms. During that time, she practiced in the areas of personal injury, construction defect litigation, criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, and mass tort litigation. Claire started her legal career as a Deputy Colorado State Public Defender, where she gained extensive trial experience ardently representing hundreds of clients facing misdemeanor and felony
charges.

Additionally, she is an active member in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Women Trial Lawyers Network, and Colorado Bar Association. She is also actively involved in the Rhone-Brackett Inn of Court and serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations. Claire is a Denver native and avid Broncos fan. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her children, reading, being outdoors, and live music.
