Joe Oaks is a personal injury attorney who works with injured victims, particularly those who have been involved in a car wreck caused by another party’s negligence or wrongful acts.

Joe has wanted to be an attorney since his early high school years. This was likely caused by his strong desire to help others that he derived from several mission trips he took as a teen to a deaf school in Jamaica.

Throughout law school and his career as a personal injury attorney, Joe has participated in volunteer service ranging from tutoring at local elementary schools, teaching citizen’s rights, criminal law and procedure to at-risk high schoolers, to representing incapacitated individuals’ rights in probate proceedings with the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program.

Joe is the fifth of seven children, raised on the Florida Gulf Coast. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Alabama and attended law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Joe is admitted to the Alabama and Colorado State Bars as well as the US District Court for the District of Colorado and the US District Courts Divisions of Alabama.

In his free time, Joe and his wife enjoy exploring the outdoors of Colorado including climbing its tallest peaks, swimming in its beautiful lakes and streams, and camping.
