Anthony “Tony” Hoag became interested in personal injury law after being a passenger in a car that was struck by a drunk driver when he was 15.

When Tony was in law school, he was vice president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and worked in the school’s Domestic Violence and Workers’ Rights Clinics, where he advocated for survivors of domestic violence and victims of wage theft.

Tony received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kansas and graduated from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. After graduating law school, Tony clerked for judges in Tucson, Arizona, and Denver, Colorado, before joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC.

Tony’s hobbies include going to live concerts, running, and hiking Colorado’s famous “fourteeners.”
