Christina Hayes is an attorney at Bachus & Schanker, LLC, where she practices workers’ compensation law. She is passionate about the law and helping clients navigate complicated legal situations.

Prior to joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Ms. Hayes practiced landlord-tenant law in Maryland. She worked as an associate at a private law firm in Baltimore City before opening her own practice. She gained valuable trial advocacy experience litigating residential and commercial disputes in courts throughout the state. Ms. Hayes relocated to Colorado in 2016, and is licensed to practice law in both Maryland and Colorado.

Ms. Hayes graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she learned practical legal skills at the University’s Innocence Project and criminal practice clinics. She also had the opportunity to clerk for a judge on the Maryland Court of Appeals. Ms. Hayes earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from West Virginia University.

In her free time, Ms. Hayes enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, cooking and exploring her new home state.
