Ben Hares was born and raised in Syracuse, New York and attended SUNY Geneseo for his undergraduate where he graduated Cum Laude, was a member of student government and the model United Nations.  He moved across the country to attend the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado. During the summer of 2015, Ben worked at the Wick Law Office, a small plaintiff-side employment law firm in Denver.

Committed to securing justice for his clients, he worked in all areas of employment-related disputes including claims of discrimination, unpaid wages, and contractual disputes. During the spring of 2016, Ben participated in the University of Colorado Law Criminal Defense and Immigration Clinic. While participating in this program Ben had the opportunity to represent an individual in deportation proceedings. He successfully litigated the case and won a cancellation of removal allowing his client to stay in the country and care for his four US citizen children.

Ben came to Bachus & Schanker, LLC in November of 2017 to broaden his experiences and continuing seeking justice for his clients. In his free time, Mr. Hares loves cooking, basketball, skiing and hiking.
