Pikes Peak Challenge Supports Victims of Traumatic Brain Injuries
Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation Supports Annual Hike
Bachus & Schanker, LLC employee John Gleason and his wife Kathy Gleason participated in the Pikes Peak Challenge to support victims of traumatic brain injuries. The Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation sponsored the couple as they hiked the famous 14er for a great cause. John Gleason said that they "met some neat people along the way up the hill, including brain injury survivors that were hiking as well as the gang of survivors at the summit who cheered" as the couple as they finished the long hike. Mr. Gleason commented that they noticed a greater number of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who are traumatic brain injury survivors.
The Gleasons met many people who had been impacted by traumatic brain injuries and found that historically there has been a lack of awareness of TBI's and lack of the technology to correctly diagnose them. According to John Gleason, this "brings home the realism that what we do here at [Bachus & Schanker, LLC] can have a lifelong effect on people's lives." Bachus & Schanker, LLC proudly represents those who are suffering from traumatic brain injuries resulting from accidents. Our commitment to justice combined with our compassionate approach can have a lasting impact for our clients.
The Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation is proud to support those in our community suffering from life changing trauma. We strive to make an impact for the citizens of Colorado by supporting charities and non-profits in our community and across the state.
