Team Bachus Raises Nearly $2,000 in 2009 Colorado March for Babies Walk
This year Team Bachus participated in its fifth March for Babies benefiting the March of Dimes.
Bachus & Schanker Partner Kyle Bachus and his wife, Jessica, started participating in the March for Babies after their oldest daughter Bailey was born 6 weeks premature and spent 22 days in the NICU at St. Anthony Central Hospital. Team Bachus not only walks for Bailey Bachus but the other three Bachus children. Kenzi who was stillborn at 24 weeks in 2007, Kamden who was born in 2008 and Karson who will join the family this August.
This year Team Bachus raised $1,935 and had 17 registered walkers. Additional walkers joined the team the day of the March. Due to the cold weather, the team was not able to show off their team t-shirts. Team Bachus was sponsored this year by Colorado's Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation and Bachus and Schanker had eight staff members walk and raise money this year.
