Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation Supports 6th Annual Walk Like MADD

As the statewide Sponsor of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Bachus & Schanker was proud to support the 6th annual Walk Like MADD event. The 5K walk took place at Sloans Lake Park in Colorado. It is MADD Colorado's largest fundraiser and a fun community-driven event.

This year the walk raised more than $94,000 for the organization - exceeding the goal!

Mr. Darin Schanker presented the top law enforcement award and many from the firm attended to show their support for the organization. The Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation had a booth in the main tent as well as a water station along the route to support the walkers.

Bachus & Schanker is proud of our longstanding relationship with MADD Colorado and was proud of the work that was put into making Walk Like MADD 2011 a success.

Drunk driving in Colorado and throughout the country is a violent crime that needs no cure. More than 1,000 families lose someone to drunk driving each month. MADD fights to eliminate this needless crime, to provide victim support at no cost to families and to prevent underage drinking.
