Shari then attended Washburn University School of Law, graduating with honors in 1996. Ms. Willis is admitted to practice before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and Kansas Supreme Court. Prior to relocating to Denver, Colorado, Ms. Willis, spent nine years practicing law in Wichita, Kansas. Through that experience, Ms. Willis developed significant expertise in analyzing the various medical-legal issues which arise in tort litigation.
Shari has been a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association, and has served as a board member for the Young Lawyers' division of the Kansas Bar Association, as vice president of the Wichita Young Lawyers organization, as a member of the Medical-Legal Committee of the Wichita Bar Association, as vice president, secretary, treasurer, and Law Day Chair of the Sumner County Bar Association, and as a disciplinary panelist on the Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys. She additionally serves as president and co-founder of Katlyn's Hope, Inc., a non-profit organization for deaf-blind children.
