Shari Willis: Colorado Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Attorney

Shari Willis is an associate at Bachus & Schanker, LLC., specializing in Complex Medical Negligence (Malpractice). She handles cases at both the trial court and appellate court levels and has significant experience holding wrongdoers accountable for catastrophic injuries caused by medical negligence, catastrophic birth injuries and birth trauma.
Ms. Willis is admitted to practice before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and Kansas Supreme Court. As part of the legal team at Bachus & Schanker, Ms. Willis handles medical malpractice, personal injury, and auto accident claims. A knowledgeable attorney, she provides Colorado injury victims with experienced, thorough representation.
Prior to relocating to Denver, Colorado, Ms. Willis, spent nine years practicing law in Wichita, Kansas. Shari initially joined an insurance defense firm, but later moved to a plaintiffs' practice where she concentrated on medical malpractice matters, product liability cases, and other complex personal injury litigation. Through that experience, Ms. Willis developed significant expertise in analyzing the various medical-legal issues which arise in tort litigation.
Shari develops a close rapport with the individuals she represents and is sensitive to the fact that, for each client, litigation is a very personal experience. For that reason, Shari makes every effort to keep her clients comfortable and well-informed as they travel over the often unfamiliar terrain of the legal system.
A dedicated attorney, Ms. Willis has a special passion for birth injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases and works hard to obtain justice for her clients throughout Colorado.
Ms. Willis founded Katlyn's Hope, a non-profit dedicated to raising money to provide in-home training for deaf and blind children, after her infant daughter Katlyn died in 1996. Katlyn's Hope was recently given to Challenge Aspen to control. You can read more about Ms. Willis' story and Katlyn's Hope at the Aspen Times.
