F<or Marc Schatten, trial law runs in his blood; his father was a federal prosecutor in New York City. Marc has 16 years of civil litigation experience that was borne out of his desire to fight the fight for those whose lives have been affected by an accident or injury due to the negligence or reckless conduct of others.

During his legal career, Marc has worked at a large firm, a small boutique firm, and then had his own law firm where he honed his skills in civil litigation and trial work. Recently, Marc joined Bachus & Schanker, LLC to focus his practice on fighting for the injured. Marc has litigated and tried cases against top local and national law firms in state and federal trial courts and courts of appeals. Also, Marc is one of the few lawyers in the state that has litigated a leading personal injury/premise liability case to the Colorado Supreme Court.

Marc's philosophy on litigation is to be an aggressive, trusted and passionate advocate for his clients. Marc is excited to be at one of the best trial firms in the state that has the resources necessary to win cases, is dedicated to its clients and is committed to shaping Colorado law that impact the rights of the injured.

Marc has always had a passion for the courtroom and championing the rights of individuals. During college, he excelled in winning top awards in collegiate debate tournaments. He is active in the legal and nonprofit communities. He is an active member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and is a Barrister in the Doyle Inn of Court. Colorado Super Lawyers selected him as a Rising Star in 2013 and in 2015 he earned a Rue Ratings Lifetime Best Attorneys of America Award. He also founded a nonprofit professional group dedicated to fundraising for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver that helped put on the first 5K Dash for the Kids and is looking forward to channeling his fundraising work to the Bachus & Schanker, LLC Cares Foundation.
