Plaintiffs Personal Injury Attorney Geoff Petis

Geoffrey Petis is an associate attorney at Bachus & Schanker, LLC, and is dedicated to ensuring that you get the justice you deserve.
Mr. Petis earned his law degree from the New England School of Law, Magna Cum Laude. While at New England Law, Mr. Petis was a technical editor on the New England Law Review, where his article Evening out a Stacked Deck: A Suggestion for Improving Judicial Economy and Prisoner Access to Justice was selected for publication. During law school, Mr. Petis focused on his trial skills through multiple clinical opportunities, and got valuable courtroom experience working for both Greater Boston Legal Services and the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office as a student-attorney.
After law school, Mr. Petis continued to hone his advocacy skills at the firm of Larson & Larimer, P.C. During his tenure there, Mr. Petis worked in a variety of practice areas, but focused on personal injury law. Over the past year-and-a-half, Mr. Petis has tried five cases to verdict. Mr. Petis joined Bachus & Schanker, LLC in April of 2011.
In addition to fighting for those who have been injured through no fault of their own, Mr. Petis is also actively engaged in Colorado volunteerism. Last year, he helped organize a food drive for the Colorado Food Bank in his office building. Mr. Petis is also a mentor for Colorado Youth at Risk, a community-based mentorship program that seeks to lower the number of high school dropouts by empowering teenage students to make life choices that positively impact their future.
