Sara Green, Labor Law Attorney

Sara Green loves applying her legal education and experience to help employees who have been wronged. Piecing together the puzzle of an employment dispute, supporting her clients and treating each client’s cause as her own, drive her passion to end employment discrimination.

Sara is an experienced employment law litigator with Bachus & Schanker, LLC, where she devotes 80 percent of her practice to employment law and the rest to general civil law.

She began her career as a litigator in the deputy district attorney in the 21st Judicial District of Colorado, prosecuting individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. While there, her successes included winning an appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court on written argument. She left the district attorney’s office in 2006 to move back to Denver to be closer to family and began her focus on employment and civil law.

Sara received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver in 1999 with a double major in political science and anthropology. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Denver’s College of Law in 2002. Currently, she is a member of the Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association.

As a Colorado native, Sara previously was a professional horse trick rider and involved in Westernaires, a nonprofit that encourages leadership, teamwork and respect through horsemanship during middle and high school years. She currently serves as a volunteer trainer for the organization. She loves to travel and looks forward to sharing the world with her husband and daughter.
