A popular snack is being recalled after reports of 51 cases of salmonella poisoning in 17 states. All lots and sizes of Veggie Booty Snack Food are being recalled, the company said, following a report of 51 cases of salmonella poisoning that may be associated with the product. The maker of the snack food, Robert’s American Gourmet Food Inc. based in Sea Cliff, N.Y., has stopped making and distributing the snack food, pending results of the investigation, according to the company’s website.
