Samuel Scheurich, Personal Injury Attorney
Samuel Scheurich is an associate attorney with Bachus & Schanker, LLC handling primarily labor and employment cases and general litigation support with the firm.
Prior to working at Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Mr. Scheurich received his Journalism degree at the University of Arizona. There, he was a news desk reporter and photographer for the school’s “Daily Wildcat,” and an intern report with the “Tucson Citizen.” Mr. Scheurich was also a member of the school’s collegiate rugby team. Upon graduation from the University of Arizona, Mr. Scheurich was a line-cook and substitute teacher while awaiting his acceptance to serve as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. Mr. Scheurich served over two years in the small former Soviet Bloc country of Moldova, teaching English, organizing clubs, and writing grants for his community. It was in Moldova that Mr. Scheurich set his sights on law school and took the bar examination in Chisinau, Moldova.
In 2010, Mr. Scheurich attended the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. There, he was a student attorney in the school’s Civil Litigation Clinic. In the clinic, Mr. Scheurich focused on labor and employment law, and was flown to Texas to conduct a deposition against a major retail employer and defended depositions in Denver. He also successfully represented a single mother in obtaining a civil protection order. Mr. Scheurich was also covered under the student practice act as a Colorado State Public Defender. While interning at the Denver Trial Office, Mr. Scheurich participated in daily docket and tried one case successfully to a jury.
As an associate at Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Mr. Scheurich is involved in many aspects of the firms practice, including labor and employment, collective actions, multi-district litigation, and general litigation support, writing, and research for attorneys at the firm.
In his free time, Mr. Scheurich likes to ski, cook, run, and be outside.
